This is one of the most diversified reserves of the area. It is also known as Shipshu on the other side of Bhutan. There is a fort at an altitude of nearly 850 meters on the Sinchula Range. It has one of the routes into Bhutan. It houses a fort built during the British period as the detention camp for freedom fighters during British rule. It is nearly 60 kilometers from Madarihat.
